As the weather gets colder, many of our families will struggle to find the money for new winter coats and shoes for their ever growing children. We currently support over 400 children of Seafarers through the United Kingdom.
Here at the Society we send two clothing grants each year, the first in August to pay for new school uniforms and the second in January for winter coats and shoes. Of the help we give to our families, this grant is probably one of the most important as it increases the child's self confidence by allowing them to have new rather than second hand shoes and coat.
For this reason, this year's Christmas Appeal will again help pay for the January Clothing Grant.
We understand that in the current economic situation people do not have large amounts of spare money, however any donation no matter how small would be greatly appreciated. Please click on the link below. We thank you for your ongoing support of the Society.
