The event was sponsored by Williamsons Solicitors. Over 300 people enjoyed an excellent three course meal, auction and raffle and listened to Dennis Taylor who was kindly sponsored by Nat West. This event was a huge success and raised just over £20,000.


   
  This event was sponsored by Smailes Goldie. 31 Teams enjoyed a day's golf at the Hull Golf Club, Kirkella inc refreshments during the round at the halfway house, followed by a meal.  A grand total of £5,600 was raised.

1st  Penrose    £500
2nd Lamb        £200
3rd Edwards   £100
4th Coult          £  50.

Bridge Day held on 7th April 2009 updated
   

The luncheon was held at Tickton Grange Hotel and the event was organised by Helen Barr.  The event was very successful and raised a total of £550 for the Society.  A big thank you to Helen Barr and also Brenda Riley who nominated our Charity of the Day.

   

"Memories of Newland" by Tom Harland

“Memories of Newland” Portrays the estate’s St Nicholas School in spring, painted by Yorkshire artist Tom Harland.  The original watercolour was auctioned at the Society’s Sportsman’s Lunch in October 2007; however prints are now available for purchase.
