The Sailors Families Society has many supporters from across the UK and the Society recognises the important contribution that they make. The Valiant Club is the Society's means of keeping in touch with all those people with an interest in the work of the Society which today helps over 450 disadvantaged children of seafarers. We intend to inform members of the latest developments, events and the future direction of the Society.
We see Valiant Club members as our ambassadors, informing friends, acquaintances and business contacts about the work we do. It is very important that more people know about the work of the Society and everyone in the Valiant Club can play a part.
This may be passing on information about the Society to another family which is in difficulties, to someone wishing to attend an event or to a potential sponsor. The
more people who know about the work of the Sailors Families Society the better.
The answer is simple - anyone with an interest in the work of the Society but may well include.
Old Scholars.
Ex staff, Trustees and Council members.
Regular supporters of the Society.
Seafaring organisations that we work very closely with.
Families we have supported.
We intend to keep members up to date with all that is happening within the Society. Twice a year we will publish a newsletter that will be distributed to all members and which will tell you all about what is going on.
Invitation to attend the AGM.
Invitations to Society events.
Opportunity to receive the Annual Review.
To become a member of the Valiant Club could not be easier. Please contact us and we will send you the latest information on the Society.
